SALTWATER CROCODILES

Saltwater crocodiles are the largest crocodile species in the world. Saltwater crocodiles are scattered throughout the lowlands of Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, and Australia (Indo-Australia).

The length of this crocodiles' body (including the tail) is usually between 2.5 to 3.3 meters. This crocodiles can weight up to 200 kg.
Crocodiles inhabit freshwater habitats like rivers, lakes, and in a muddy water,
so they can camouflage to search for prey or hide from danger..
while in the water, saltwater crocodiles can hold breath for more than 3 hours.
they slow down theur metabolism and their heart beat every 40 seconds.
on the land crocodile movement is a bit slow. but when in the water the movement can be 5 times faster.
although they move are agile they will not get hit .. because they have a transparent eyelid so they can see while in the water.

Saltwater crocodiles have a strong tail like a vehicle engine that serves to paddle, so the movement can be agile

The tail also serves to store fat that serves as a fat reserve. crocodiles can survive without food for months or even almost a year. especially when they are  traveling a long way.

They consume fish, birds, other reptiles and mammals as their main diet.
crocodiles have teeth but not to chew foods, but to catch and tear their prey

  although the crocodile teeth are strong enough, but the teeth can also be dislodged. because they eat hard food or because of a fight

but crocodile teeth will continue to grow

  crocodiles used to eat stones, to help digestion of crocodiles. in the digestion of crocodiles there are acids that can destroy bones, stones, feathers and others.

crocodile is a territorial animal. Every crocodile has its own territory.
so if there is a crocodile into the territory of another crocodile, then the crocodile who controlled the area will be angry and can cause fights between crocodiles.
